Christmas Greetings 2006!

Hi all,

Just sending this out to all our email friends as a quick update to out year since last Christmas.  We've been blessed in having a great year, and send our Christmas greetings out to u all.

January

  • Brianna has her 3rd birthday and rec’d a bunch of gifts
  • Went to Killington with family to ski , went with Maria, Ron, Rick and Laura.  Brianna attended ski school (otherwise known as really expensive day care) and had a blast on skis.  We all got sick at the end of the trip with some mysterious stomach bug (except Jordan and Ron)

February – May

  •    Julie’s brother Rick gets engaged to Shari Lobb.
  •  May 12th  attend my future bro-in-law (Randy Tupaz’s) stag party.  Participate in a Texas hold’em tournament and make it to 11th outta 45+.  And thus begins my pro gambling career.
  • Julie’s Grandma (Mary Howson) passes away at the age of 91

June

  •     Anita Chang (Brianna and Jordan’s aunt – my sister) gets hitched to Randy Tupaz on June 24th at Trinity Chapel in downtown T.O.  Brianna is a flowergirl (pictures are at www.anitaandrandy.com)

Summer

  • Julie’s cousin Christopher gets hitched to Catherine Lemon, and Brianna is again a flowergirl.
  •  Spend lots of time at the cottage, swimming and fishing

  •   Jordan turns1 on August 30th

September

  •    Julie’s brother Rick gets married to Shari Lobb. Brianna requests some cousins at the reception (….nothing has happened yet)

November

  • Julie’s Grandpa (William Frederick Howson) passes away in Wingham at the age of 92
  •   Jordan gets dedicated at Trinity Evangelical Missionary Church

Julie’s tidbits:

Brianna delights us daily with her sense of humour and we are amazed at her statements.  The growing “wisdom” of a 3 year-old’s world is remarkable.  She is thriving at St Jacob’s Daycare 2 days a week (after her token cry when Mommy says bye).  She loves to tell stories and jokes, to entertain guests (every night if she had it her way), and she’s started praying that God will “help me be obedient to my Mommy and Daddy.” (Sunday school is teaching her well!!)

Jordan is our busy explorer.  He gets into new and exciting places daily;- the toilet bowl and dirty diaper pail to name a couple.  As he is progressing past his extreme separation anxiety stage, he is becoming a charming character, who also loves to laugh, “run”, and do everything that his sister does.

We have a blog website now… you can get updates by going to http://www.pjbj.ca

We wish you all peace and joy this coming year, and hope the daily busy-ness or challenges we all face doesn’t interfere with enjoying what is really important.

                    Merry Christmas,

                                                                                  Peter, Julie, Brianna & Jordan
