Economic Stimulus Package - addendum

Hoping to get Ontario Plates soon for the Porsche (Boxster S).... however must get new tires 1st. Apparently having tires that meet just the following criteria are not safe:

1. hold air
2. are black in colour
3. are round

is not enough to meet safety certification. Ok - 1 or 2 wearbars are showing.... but it's on the inside of the tire.... Porsche's are low riding cars with a fair amount of toe-in.

Oh well, tack on $1100 cdn to the car bill, this time spent locally, should have changed tires in the states before bringing her back. Could have saved a few benjamins....

Tires should be in by Wednesday next week, hopefully sooner.... then Ont. plates. Meantime, my Illinois Temp Tag is good far a few more days.

Economic Stimulus Package - Porsche has arrived.

Following Barack's stimulus package to " buy American" I decided to get a Boxster from the States, and import it into Canada.... Here's my bit at supporting the automotive industry, as this vehicle will probably consume parts at an alarming rate.... but it looks nice.....Getting the rundown on the car
